Thanksgiving 2020 Was a Huge Success!
Praise the Lord! The raging Coronavirus did not stop the Minnie H. Goodlow Page Section from donating to needy families in the Dallas area. We did not gather due to safety precautions, but God allowed us to get the job done! Instead of donating food baskets, we mailed gift cards to the families. Thanks to the generosity of our sisters, we received financial donations and gift cards totaling $1200, making it possible to feed 30 families which included a total of 136 people for Thanksgiving! Recipients have shared their appreciation:
“Thanks for your loving heart and helping hands, it gave us food and peace at Thanksgiving.”
“The gift cards made our Thanksgiving a blessed success. I thank God for each of you remembering those in need like my family.”
