Rochelle Chivers

Ms. Rochelle Chivers is a native of Dallas, Texas.  She attends Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Vincent T. Parker.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Child Development from Texas Southern University, and a Master of Education in Educational Administration Degree from Prairie View A & M University of Texas. Ms. Chivers is also an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the  NCNW Minnie H. Goodlow Page Section, and an active member of the Trinity West Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. 

As a woman of vision, Ms. Chivers is revered for her leadership ability, integrity, and compassion.  Her vision and leadership led her to serve as a co-organizer of the first NCNW Youth Group in Texas.

She began her teaching career in 1996. Her philosophy is to teach from the heart while allowing students to discover their own abilities to be scholars and positive leaders in our schools. She enjoys cooking, traveling, being a part of Delta Sigma Theta book club, and spending time with friends and family.

Ms. Chivers has set out by faith and through the Word of God to prepare our youth to become the vessels that honor God and to serve this present age with knowledge and skills
