Connie Bradley

President

President Connie Bradley is a charter member of the NCNW Minnie H. Goodlow Page Section.  She is a servant leader and has worked in many capacities within the organization since joining in 2001 and has served as President since 2018.

Under President Bradley’s leadership, the NCNW Minnie H. Goodlow Page Section holds true to its mission, "To lead, empower and advocate for women of African descent, their families and communities." President Bradley has successfully led programs and membership campaigns, which have increased membership by 33 new members.  NCNW Minnie H. Goodlow Page Section outreach programs, including Power of Prayer Breakfast, The Women of Distinction Hat and Tea Extravaganza, African American History Month, and the annual Youth Summit continue to impact our community.  The Thanksgiving Baskets for families in need serves 50 families annually.  The first NCNW Minnie H. Goodlow Page Section Youth Section was established in November 2019, and the official charter on March 27, 2020, from headquarters National Council of Negro Women, Incorporated.

President Bradley enjoys giving back to the community and believes in paying it forward, especially in service to women and girls. She has been a lifelong mentor informally to many girls and women in her life and has also served formally as a mentor to young ladies through Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.

President Bradley hails from Franklin, Louisiana and though she moved to Texas over 30 years ago, she will always be a Louisiana girl at heart. Upon moving to Texas, Connie utilized her vocational training in Accounting to build a successful career in banking/financial services holding various leadership positions at regional and major banks including Bank of America (NCNB, Nations Bank), Bank Texas, First American, CoreLogic and JP Morgan Chase. A lifelong learner, she is currently continuing her formal education in Business Administration and Accounting.

President Bradley is a member of the Freedom Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas where Dr. Mack T. Flemmings, Sr. is the Senior Pastor. She has served as an usher for over 20 years and was awarded the Mary Suber Award in 2012, an award given to an usher for outstanding and dedicated service. She also serves on the scholarship committee in making sure that graduating seniors at the church have financial support as they attend college.

President Bradley has one adult daughter, Jarie, who follows in her footsteps in service to the community. Connie will continue to serve as the President of the NCNW Minnie H. Goodlow Page Section for 2020 – 2022. Her motto is “We are sisters that support and love one another. When one succeeds, we all do, and if one fails, we all fail. We Are One”.
