A spirit-filled Prayer Warrior who uses the love language of Heaven to commune with God and lead others "pass the gate…through the courts… into His Holy presence.” Carlyn accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at the age of 7. An ordained minister of the Gospel, Carlyn has a passion for people knowing Christ and growing into intimacy with Him through the study of His Word, the power of the Holy Spirit, and Prayer. Her life ministry is based on Hebrews 4:16, Let us therefore come boldly before the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Carlyn served the US federal government as a civilian, and retired with 38 years of service, including over 20 years of leadership in corporate management. Carlyn is a longtime member of the Concord Church, Dr. Bryan L. Carter, Senior Pastor, where she has served over 20 years in ministry leadership. Carlyn served over 5 years as Prayer Coordinator at Concord Church while simultaneously serving in non-profit leadership as Director Strategic Planning with Sheila Bailey Ministries, Inc.
A servant leader widely known for her great love for God, devotion to family, compassion for people, and ministry of Prayer and Healing. A gifted writer, she has authored numerous training courses, ministry articles, and is a contributing author to professional and ministry publications. Her most recent work includes her collection of Scripture-based prayer scrolls and prayer journals. The granddaughter of a Baptist Minister, Carlyn comes from a family of Pastors, Ministers, Evangelists, Bible teachers, and Gospel singers. Carlyn is the daughter of the late Dewie Granville and the late Rev. and Mrs. Elliott and Nellie R. Granville-Davis. Carlyn is driven by a mandate from Heaven and a rich spiritual legacy that continues through her daughter, Chrisdya.
Her fresh, creative spirit and engagingly warm personality combine to create an open and uninhibited prayer experience from the moment we enter His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise, to the moment we kneel at the Altar of Incense, the Holy Spirit is our tour guide who leads us boldly before His throne in worship.
